The National Medical Commission (NMC) has defined strict eligibility norms for NEET UG 2026. Review these criteria carefully before applying.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 17 Years (by 31st Dec 2026).
- Maximum: No Upper Age Limit.
Academic Qualification
- Exam: 10+2 (HSC) passed/appearing.
- Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech, English.
- NIOS/Open School: Eligible (Subject to final court verdict).
Minimum Marks Requirement (10+2 PCB Aggregate)

NEET UG 2026 Syllabus (Official Update)
The syllabus for 2026 remains unchanged and is consistent with the rationalized NCERT curriculum.

- Human Physiology: Digestion (Deleted), Breathing, Circulation, Neural Control.
- Genetics & Evolution: Mendelian inheritance, DNA structure, Evolution.
- Ecology: Ecosystem, Biodiversity, Environmental Issues (Deleted).
- Mechanics: Laws of Motion, Work Energy Power, Rotational Motion.
- Electrodynamics: Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Magnetism.
- Modern Physics: Atoms, Nuclei, Semiconductors (Transistors deleted).
- Optics: Ray and Wave Optics.
- Physical: Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Solutions, Electrochemistry.
- Inorganic: Periodic Table, Chemical Bonding, p-block, d & f block (Coordination Compounds).
- Organic: Hydrocarbons, Haloalkanes, Alcohols, Biomolecules.

Scholarships for MBBS Students

1. Central Sector Scheme
By: Dept of Higher Education, Govt of India.
Benefit: ₹10,000 - ₹20,000 per year. For students above 80th percentile in Class 12.
