BHMS Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026
To secure admission in a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) course, candidates must qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG). The detailed criteria are as follows:
Age & Citizenship
- Minimum Age: 17 Years completed by 31st Dec 2026.
- Upper Age Limit: None (As per current NCISM guidelines).
- Nationality: Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs are eligible.
Academic Qualification
- 10+2 Exam: Passed with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
- Minimum Marks (PCB):
- General/EWS: 50%
- OBC/SC/ST: 40%
- PwD: 45%
NEET UG 2026 Syllabus for BHMS
The syllabus for BHMS admission is identical to MBBS, based on the rationalized NCERT curriculum of Class 11 and 12.

1. AYUSH Scholarship (International)
For: International Students via ICCR.
Benefit: Fully funded education for foreign nationals pursuing BHMS in premier Indian institutes.
2. Central Sector Scheme (NSP)
By: Govt of India.
Benefit: ₹10k - ₹20k per annum for students scoring above 80th percentile in Class 12 Boards.
3. CCB Scholarship
