How This Predictor Works

Transparent methodology — know exactly what drives your prediction.

Real 2025 MCC Closing Data

Uses official NEET UG 2025 Round 1–3 closing marks from MCC/DGHS for AIQ seats, and State Counselling data for State Quota seats.

Category-Specific Cutoffs

Each college has separate cutoffs per category (GEN/OBC/SC/ST/EWS). Your score is compared against the exact cutoff for your category — not a generic average.

Chance Score Logic

High: Score ≥ cutoff+20  |  Good: Score ≥ cutoff  |  Moderate: Within 20 below  |  Borderline: 21–50 below cutoff

Important Limitations:
  • This tool does not replace official MCC / State Counselling. Always verify from mcc.nic.in.
  • Cutoffs shift ±10–30 marks year-on-year based on paper difficulty and seat matrix changes.
  • Results show merit/AIQ seats. Management / NRI Quota seats have different fees and separate cutoffs.
  • AIIMS cutoffs shown are NEET score equivalents based on closing rank data.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about NEET UG 2026 college prediction & cutoffs

For General category, approximately 560–600+ marks are required for State Quota government seats. Under All India Quota (AIQ), cutoffs are typically 600–680+ for top colleges. OBC candidates may get seats at 530–560 marks in state quota. SC/ST candidates can qualify for government seats at significantly lower marks (often 300–450) under state quota reservations.

With 400 marks (General/OBC), Government MBBS merit seats are very difficult. Options: (1) SC/ST candidates may qualify for State Govt seats. (2) Management Quota in Private/Deemed colleges is accessible but has higher fees (₹10–25L/year). (3) MBBS Abroad in Russia, Nepal, or Kyrgyzstan at ₹3–6L/year is a cost-effective option. Check MBBS in Russia 2026.

AIIMS New Delhi is the most competitive medical college in India. In 2025, the closing rank for General category was approximately 50–80, corresponding to 700+ marks out of 720. For OBC the closing rank was ~200–300. For SC ~500–600. These vary slightly each year based on paper difficulty.

All India Quota (15%) seats are filled via MCC counselling — pan-India competition, higher cutoffs. State Quota (85%) seats are filled through respective state counselling — only domicile candidates compete, making cutoffs slightly lower. Our predictor labels each college result with the quota type so you know which counselling applies to you.

Most predictors use broad rank-band estimates. Our tool uses actual MCC NEET UG 2025 category-specific closing marks per college — not just rank ranges. We also clearly communicate the ±margin, which most tools don't. That said, no predictor is 100% accurate for a future exam; use this as a shortlisting tool, then verify with official MCC data.
