The Admission Process 2026

Admissions are conducted through two separate counseling authorities.

Conducted by the Ministry of AYUSH. It covers:
  • 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in Govt/Aided Colleges.
  • 100% seats in Deemed Universities.
  • 100% seats in National Institutes (e.g., NIA Jaipur).

Conducted by respective state authorities (e.g., GRAU in Punjab, MAH-CET in Maharashtra). It covers:
  • 85% State Quota seats in Govt Colleges.
  • 100% seats in Private Colleges (including Management Quota).

Did You Know?

The cut-off for BAMS/BHMS is generally lower than MBBS, but top Govt colleges require a score of 500+ in NEET.

However, many good private colleges offer admission to candidates with scores between 150 - 350.
